Senior Sales Account Executive
Square is seeking a seasoned Account Executive with a strong background in new logo sales to join our Outbound Sales Team. This role focuses on engaging restaurant owners, particularly within small to mid-sized businesses, to expand Square's presence in the market. The successful candidate will develop and execute outbound strategies, working collaboratively with the Business Development team to build a robust book of business.
Key responsibilities include understanding the unique business and technological needs of merchants to implement a consultative sales approach. The role involves prospecting, conducting discovery calls, delivering product demonstrations, and crafting solutions that integrate both first and third-party offerings to meet client requirements. Additionally, the Account Executive will engage in field activities to strengthen relationships and enhance win rates, while maintaining a scalable outbound sales process through various outreach methods.
The ideal candidate will possess over three years of experience in a full-cycle closing sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex deals. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. The role demands the ability to independently drive deals in a fast-paced environment, experience in business development, and proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
Compensation for this position varies based on location, with U.S. locations categorized into four zones reflecting the cost of labor. The salary ranges are as follows:
- Zone A: $156,200 - $234,200
- Zone B: $145,200 - $217,800
- Zone C: $137,400 - $206,200
- Zone D: $129,600 - $194,400
These amounts include target variable compensation.
