Senior Sales Account Executive
Square is seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Account Executive to join our Outbound Sales Team, focusing on engaging small to mid-sized restaurant owners. This role involves developing and executing outbound sales strategies to introduce Square's comprehensive ecosystem to new clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a strong background in new business acquisition and a passion for helping businesses grow.
In this position, you will be responsible for the entire outbound sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals. Your day-to-day activities will include sourcing leads, conducting cold calls and emails, performing product demonstrations, and developing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each merchant. Collaboration with the Business Development team will be essential to build and manage a robust pipeline, and you will work closely with Product and Marketing teams to ensure our offerings align with market demands.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proven success in outbound prospecting and new business creation, particularly within the SaaS or fintech sectors, is highly desirable. Strong consultative selling skills, exceptional communication abilities across various channels, and proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools are essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Compensation for this role varies based on location, with annual salaries ranging from $129,600 to $234,200, inclusive of target variable compensation.
