The Senior Sales Director, Strategic Retail at Braze will lead a team of Strategic Account Executives focused on customer acquisition and retention within the retail sector. Key responsibilities include hiring, nurturing, and leading a high-performing sales team, setting and executing aggressive customer acquisition and expansion strategies, and developing industry-specific sales playbooks. The director will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to build a robust go-to-market motion for the retail sector, including industry event presence and targeted outbound strategies.
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience leading teams of Strategic Account Executives, with a proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop top talent. Experience in the full lifecycle of SaaS customer engagement, including prospecting, acquisition, retention, and growth, is essential. Demonstrated success in developing vertical go-to-market strategies within the retail or consumer brand segments is highly desirable.
Braze offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary between $180,000 and $237,500, with On Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $360,000 to $475,000, which includes bonuses or commissions.
