Senior Security Engineer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Security Engineering team. This role focuses on designing and implementing advanced security architectures to protect the company's global network and defense technology products. The Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and deploying security controls across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructures. Key duties include creating tools to enhance security posture and operational efficiency, conducting security architecture and design reviews, and building automation systems for detecting, monitoring, and remediating security issues. The role encompasses work across infrastructure, application, and operational security domains.
Candidates must possess strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, and have experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK in a production environment. A solid understanding of modern attack vectors and defensive mitigation strategies is essential. Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and developing defensive controls for endpoints and SaaS applications is required. The ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across teams is crucial. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance is also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
