Senior Security Engineer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team, focusing on building world-class defensive controls to protect the infrastructure surrounding our advanced defense technology products. This role involves designing and implementing advanced security architectures that safeguard our global network while serving as a critical security partner across the enterprise.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing security controls across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructure; developing tools and systems to improve security posture and operational efficiency; conducting security architecture and design reviews for systems and applications; building automation to detect, monitor, and remediate security issues; and working across infrastructure, application, and operational security domains.
Required qualifications encompass strong programming ability in one or more general-purpose languages (such as Python, Go, or Rust); experience with infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacity; experience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applications; a solid understanding of modern attack vectors and defensive mitigation strategies; experience working with cloud platforms and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines; experience developing and implementing defensive controls around endpoint and SaaS applications; the ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across teams; participation in or support of incident response events; and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include experience building bespoke solutions in high-growth and high-complexity environments; experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystems and tooling; experience with log aggregation, secrets management, or endpoint security tools; and strong experience with Linux operating systems.
The salary range for this role is $166,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Actual salary offers may vary based on factors such as work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and business considerations.
