Senior Security Engineer, Manufacturing
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Security Engineering team, focusing on building world-class defensive controls to protect the infrastructure surrounding their advanced defense technology products. This role is pivotal in securing Anduril's Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments, playing a critical part in the rollout of cutting-edge factory systems.
The successful candidate will lead OT risk assessments, conduct gap analyses, and develop a multi-year OT security roadmap. Responsibilities include architecting and implementing defensive security controls across cloud, production, and corporate environments, supporting the deployment and maintenance of security tools, and building systems to enhance automation, visibility, and threat detection. Additionally, the role involves independently driving security initiatives and collaborating closely with factory production teams to ensure environments are secure by design.
Required qualifications include experience with routing, switching, and network design principles, familiarity with zero trust architecture and segmentation strategies for OT networks, and conducting security architecture or design reviews for OT/ICS environments. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, and experience in developing and implementing defensive controls in corporate and industrial production environments are essential. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications encompass familiarity with OT protocols like Modbus, DNP3, or Ethernet/IP, experience with specific ICS/SCADA vendor platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Honeywell, and strong experience with Linux operating systems.
