Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its Security Engineering team, focusing on safeguarding the company's advanced defense technology products. This role is pivotal in securing Anduril's Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments, contributing significantly to the deployment of cutting-edge factory systems.

The successful candidate will lead OT risk assessments, conduct gap analyses, and develop a comprehensive multi-year OT security roadmap. Responsibilities include architecting and implementing defensive security controls across cloud, production, and corporate environments, as well as supporting the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security tools. The role also involves building systems to enhance automation, visibility, and threat detection, driving security initiatives independently, and collaborating closely with factory production teams to ensure secure design practices.

Applicants should possess experience with routing, switching, and network design principles, and be familiar with zero trust architecture and segmentation strategies for OT networks. Proficiency in conducting security architecture or design reviews for OT/ICS environments, applying threat modeling frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK for ICS, and programming in languages such as Python, Go, or Rust is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, take ownership of complex projects, and have participated in or supported incident response events. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with OT protocols like Modbus, DNP3, or Ethernet/IP, experience with ICS/SCADA vendor platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Honeywell, and a strong background in Linux operating systems. Experience in developing bespoke solutions in high-growth, high-complexity network environments is also advantageous.

Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 USD, along with highly competitive equity grants. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost, income protection through life and disability insurance, generous time off with a holiday hiatus in December, and support for family planning and parenting. Additional perks encompass access to mental health resources, annual reimbursement for professional development, company-funded commuter benefits, and relocation assistance where applicable. The company also provides a retirement savings plan with various options, including traditional 401(k), Roth, and after-tax contributions.
