We are designing, manufacturing, and operating aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise. Our team is committed to diversity and inclusion, believing that a diverse workplace drives better insights and success.

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of our core systems and services. You will leverage your extensive expertise in various technologies to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining infrastructure and pipelines for internal LLM-powered chat services, managing highly available and secure cloud-native infrastructure on Amazon EKS, developing comprehensive observability strategies, optimizing data pipelines, and driving continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will champion cloud-first strategies, enforce robust security practices, design Docker-based containerization solutions, develop automation scripts, collaborate with development teams to ensure reliability from inception, troubleshoot complex production issues, and participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role with a strong focus on operational excellence. Deep expertise in Amazon EKS, extensive experience with observability tools, a proven track record in designing robust data pipelines, and a strong background in CI/CD methodologies are essential. Proficiency in Docker, advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and a solid understanding of networking concepts, distributed systems, and operating systems are also required. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include experience with other Kubernetes distributions or cloud providers, familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or status as a protected individual to satisfy ITAR, contractual, and/or regulatory requirements.

At Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possesses the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the company’s business strategy. For this position, we are targeting a base pay between $133,400 and $200,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
