Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
Skylo Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our System Test team in Espoo, Finland. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our 4G/5G-based Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) services, which enable direct satellite connectivity for smartphones and IoT devices across the globe.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, end-to-end test automation frameworks from the ground up. Your day-to-day activities will include developing functional, regression, integration, acceptance, and end-to-end tests for our NTN network. Additionally, you will integrate these automated tests into our continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins to maintain high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience in software development in test, with a strong background in Python programming and extensive experience implementing test automation using the Robot Framework. Proficiency with automation tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab, and Artifactory is essential, along with experience in Linux and Docker environments. A proactive and collaborative approach is crucial, as is the ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced setting.
