Senior Software Engineer [AI Solutioning]
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI Solutioning to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating advanced AI and GenAI technologies into our enterprise systems, enhancing functionalities across sales, finance, customer success, and more. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and scaling backend services, APIs, and integrations that embed AI and GenAI into enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, and BI platforms. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing LLM-powered solutions like RAG pipelines, copilots, agents, and automation workflows. You will take AI solutions from concept to production by designing, building, testing, deploying, and monitoring them. Collaboration with architects and business stakeholders will be essential to translate requirements into practical AI implementations, and you will create and manage data pipelines to ensure reliable, high-quality AI workflows. Ensuring that all solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and aligned with best practices will be a key aspect of your role.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in software or solutions engineering with production systems. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Node.js are required, along with hands-on experience with APIs, integrations (REST/webhooks), and backend development. Practical experience working with LLMs or GenAI tools like OpenAI or LangChain is essential. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, as well as CI/CD and containerization, is also necessary. A solid understanding of AI and GenAI concepts like prompt engineering, RAG, or agents is important, as is the ability to translate technical solutions into business impact and collaborate effectively across teams.
While not mandatory, experience integrating AI into CRM, ERP, or analytics platforms would be advantageous. Familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps concepts such as model lifecycle and monitoring is beneficial. Exposure to machine learning or data analytics tools like Scikit-learn or dashboards is a plus. Experience working in global or distributed teams and knowledge of AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices are also desirable.
