Senior Software Engineer -Backend(.NET)
Energy Exemplar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend (.NET) to join our Development team in India. This role involves delivering high-quality, performant software solutions that address a wide range of customer use cases. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of our award-winning software portfolio, including PLEXOS®, Aurora, and Adapt2, which are trusted by organizations worldwide for energy modeling and simulation.
In this position, you will be responsible for the technical development of multiple projects and products. Your day-to-day tasks will include working on data structures and algorithms, transforming logic into code, designing and developing UI front-end technologies, and optimizing code for performance. Additionally, you will address cross-browser compatibility issues, ensure web application security, and participate in DevOps transformations using Agile and SCRUM methodologies. Collaboration with team members and leaders to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices is also a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in product development, with strong knowledge in object-oriented programming C#, and SQL Server or other RDBMS. Proficiency in UI front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, is essential. Experience with frameworks such as Angular 4+, VueJS, or React is highly desirable. Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively across team boundaries and independently, are crucial. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.
