Senior Software Engineer, Data & Analytics
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team in Costa Mesa, California. This team is responsible for building the core data infrastructure that powers our operations, designing scalable data architectures that model our organizational functions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop high-performance data systems that serve as the digital twin of our operations, creating backend services and internal-facing applications that drive mission-critical decision-making.
In this role, you will design and implement scalable database schemas and data models to support Anduril's core operational needs. You will build performant data processing pipelines that transform raw data for various use cases and architect end-to-end data solutions, from database design through service layers to integration points and frontend applications. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to the technical roadmap for our data systems, making critical architecture decisions.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of professional software engineering experience focusing on data-intensive applications. Strong experience in database design and optimization, proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems are essential. A solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices, experience implementing security controls for sensitive data, and the ability to drive technical projects from conception to completion in a fast-paced environment are also required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are crucial. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 USD for this role, with actual offers varying based on factors such as work experience, education, and critical skills.
