Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jfrog Artifactory to facilitate seamless integration and deployment of machine learning models and applications. You will utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Implementing containerization solutions with Docker and managing container orchestration using Kubernetes will be essential to ensure reliable deployment and scaling of applications. Setting up and maintaining model registries and feature stores (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow), as well as managing deployment pipelines for both batch and real-time inference, will be part of your role. Establishing comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using tools like the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, and Grafana will ensure the smooth operation of deployment environments. Collaborating with development, data science, and operations teams to foster effective deployment of machine learning models is crucial. Additionally, optimizing performance by utilizing parallel computing frameworks such as CUDA and OpenCL to accelerate high-performance computing tasks will be expected. Required qualifications include advanced proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python for scripting and integration. Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jfrog Artifactory, and Git is necessary. Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) are essential. You should have expertise in containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes), as well as knowledge of model registries and feature stores (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow). Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana) and an understanding of parallel computing frameworks (CUDA, OpenCL) are required. Strong collaboration skills and proficiency with collaborative tools (JIRA, Confluence) are important. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, familiarity with observability concepts and tools, and knowledge of security best practices for DevOps and MLOps. Compensation for this role ranges from $166,000 to $220,000 annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in most full-time offers.
