Senior Software Engineer
Groma is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Boston, MA. As a vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and management company, Groma combines traditional real estate practices with cutting-edge technology to enhance outcomes for investors, tenants, and the communities we serve. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the digital infrastructure that powers Groma's operations. Your primary responsibilities will include building tools to efficiently manage our growing real estate portfolio, creating products that facilitate investor engagement with our real estate funds, and developing infrastructure to represent shares in the Groma Real Estate Trust within a blockchain environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with IoT smart home technology and AI to optimize resident and maintenance tasks.
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in web application development, particularly with experience in Django or comparable frameworks. Proficiency in Python and TypeScript is essential, and familiarity with Solidity is advantageous. Experience with React for frontend development and a solid understanding of Google Cloud, Postgres, and Ethereum infrastructure are also desirable. A product-oriented mindset, technical versatility, and the ability to work directly with stakeholders to develop pragmatic solutions are key attributes for success in this role.
