Senior Software Engineer I, Content Cards
Braze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Content Cards team, dedicated to transforming in-product surfaces into dynamic, personalized experiences that adapt to user behavior in real time. This team builds systems powering in-app engagement across customers' websites and applications, including message definition, composition, targeting, delivery semantics, and analytics, along with a feature-rich dashboard for seamless management of in-product messaging experiences.
In this role, you will develop new capabilities, enhance reliability and performance, and guide key architectural decisions as we scale. Responsibilities include driving initiatives that expand customer capabilities on high-value surfaces, unlocking new content presentation methods, and strengthening platform foundations to accelerate future innovation across in-product channels.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of full-stack development experience, a proven track record of leading complex projects from ambiguity to delivery, and a strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms. Self-starters with excellent communication and organizational skills, experienced in team environments, are highly valued.
For candidates based in Ontario, the starting salary range is expected to be between CA$153,815 and CA$277,431 per year, with an On Target Earnings (OTE) between CA$172,000 and CA$308,400 per year, including performance-based or variable compensation.
