Senior Software Engineer I, Full-stack
Braze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our dynamic team in Austin. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and enhancing modular components for our cutting-edge customer engagement platform. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of scalable and dynamic product features that empower brands to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing robust software engineering best practices to develop and improve modular components, collaborating with UI/UX, Product, Research, and Implementation teams to create scalable product features, applying your extensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and their ecosystems to build clean, reliable, and extensible web user interfaces, influencing Braze's product strategy and roadmap, and supporting teams implementing Braze for customers to ensure their success.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional coding skills with a focus on clean code and good design practices, a passion for exploring and learning new technologies and methods, strong problem-solving abilities to recognize patterns and develop creative, practical solutions, an entrepreneurial mindset to proactively identify opportunities and risks, and excellent communication skills to express ideas clearly and persuasively in both writing and speech.
Braze offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range between $129,600 and $232,200 per year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $144,000 and $258,000 per year, which includes bonuses or commissions.
