Spring Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join the Member Growth team, focusing on enhancing the Care Guide Experience. This role involves developing full-stack, AI-powered features that improve how members discover and engage with mental health care services. Spring Health is dedicated to eliminating barriers to mental health by providing personalized care through its Precision Mental Healthcare platform.

In this position, you will design and build scalable full-stack services using Python, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ship high-impact features that enhance member experiences through AI integration. Responsibilities include expanding and maintaining existing web applications, debugging and resolving issues efficiently, and providing technical leadership in architectural discussions and code reviews. You will also advocate for high engineering standards, including test coverage, documentation, and observability, and participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability.

The ideal candidate has over five years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development. Proficiency in at least one of the following languages is required: Python, Ruby on Rails, or React. You should have a proven ability to independently lead the delivery of complex technical projects and experience working in cross-functional Agile teams. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience designing scalable, maintainable system architectures are essential. Familiarity with observability and experimentation tools such as Datadog, LaunchDarkly, Sentry, Mixpanel, and Iterable is also desired. Experience with LangGraph, LangSmith, AI/ML, or a background in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus.

The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 to $196,480, complemented by a competitive total rewards package that includes stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
