Senior Software Engineer, iOS
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in iOS at Archer, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team focused on developing cutting-edge applications for iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS platforms. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include developing and delivering high-quality features across iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS applications, ensuring their performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will collaborate closely with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into functional and user-friendly interfaces that adhere to platform best practices. Additionally, you will maintain, refactor, and modularize existing Swift and Objective-C codebases to improve code quality and reusability. Managing app lifecycle processes, including builds, provisioning, certificates, and App Store submissions, will also be a key part of your role.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in commercial software development, with a strong background in both Swift and Objective-C programming languages. Proficiency in SwiftUI, UIKit, and other core Apple frameworks is essential. Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and a solid understanding of iOS build systems, provisioning, certificates, and App Store requirements are also required. Familiarity with MapKit or other mapping SDKs and strong proficiency in Git are important for this role.
Archer offers a competitive compensation package, with a targeted base pay between $134,400 and $168,000, depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
