Senior Software Engineer, Kubernetes

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Kubernetes to join their Intelligence Systems team in Reston, Virginia. This team focuses on delivering advanced engineering solutions to the Intelligence Community, addressing critical national security challenges through innovative technology.

In this role, the engineer will design, deploy, and manage resilient Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. Responsibilities include developing infrastructure-as-code tooling, troubleshooting complex Linux-based systems, optimizing containerized application deployments, and ensuring the security and scalability of mission-critical software.

Candidates should have 3 to 7 years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in languages such as Go, Python, or Java. Extensive experience with Kubernetes, including managed offerings like Rancher or Anthos, is required. A strong background in cloud infrastructure architecture and security, particularly with providers like GCP or AWS, and expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform are also essential. An active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance is mandatory.
