Collaborating with a dynamic and agile engineering team, you will contribute to building a product that directly impacts millions of lives by providing fiduciary financial guidance. This position offers the opportunity to influence the direction of our technology and product offerings in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

In this role, you will design and build backend services and systems that support LearnLux's platform, focusing on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data systems. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and data teams, you will translate requirements into well-scoped technical solutions and drive engineering efficiency through automation and AI-driven tools.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of projects and systems. Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python is required, along with experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems in a SaaS environment. A solid understanding of distributed systems concepts and cloud infrastructure, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS, is essential. Familiarity with security and compliance considerations in production systems and experience using automation tools to improve developer productivity are also important.

Additional perks include paid vacation and sick leave, a paid sabbatical after five years of service, and a supportive, inclusive team culture. Employees have opportunities for continuous learning and growth at a fast-growing startup at the cutting edge intersection of financial wellness and technology.

LearnLux is committed to fostering an environment that embraces diversity and inclusion. We encourage candidates from a variety of backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives to apply.
