Senior Software Engineer - Manufacturing Automation

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Corporate Technology Engineering team, focusing on the development of Forge, an internal SaaS platform that integrates various systems to optimize production lines. This role involves collaborating with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to enhance Forge's performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities include creating SaaS solutions that integrate effectively with on-premise systems, writing high-quality code to improve Forge's scalability, engaging in code reviews and architectural discussions, and providing technical support to Forge users. The engineer will also develop expertise in a specific area of the full stack, such as backend, frontend, or integration.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and proficiency with web-based technologies like JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Remix or Next.js. Experience with large enterprise applications and the ability to empathize with end-users to balance user experience with engineering constraints are essential. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled data.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with AWS, experience with eventing systems and large data streaming for test automation, a background in scaled manufacturing environments, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
