Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves developing and maintaining the foundational systems that power Anduril's defense technology products. The Platform team is dedicated to building a comprehensive, integrated platform that enables efficient data management, task orchestration, and system-wide interoperability, supporting autonomous robots and data-driven decision-making across all war-fighting domains.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement core infrastructure components that support Anduril's defense technology applications. Your responsibilities will include developing platform services that enable other software engineers to scale their output, working with simulation, data management, compute infrastructure, and networking technologies. Collaboration with customers to deliver novel software capabilities and partnering with team members in the autonomy domain to create technologies and processes are also key aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in an engineering environment, with 5+ years working with programming languages such as Go, C++, Rust, Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience in designing, developing, and integrating software for infrastructure, cloud, web, autonomy, or robotic applications is essential. Demonstrated ability to build platform and infrastructure tooling, along with strong collaboration skills, particularly in the autonomy domain, are also required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is necessary for this position.

Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $168,000 to $252,000, along with highly competitive equity grants. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost, life and disability insurance, generous PTO plans with a holiday hiatus in December, caregiver and wellness leave, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development reimbursement, commuter benefits, relocation assistance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.

Joining Anduril means becoming part of a team committed to transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. The company fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and rapid deployment, offering growth opportunities and the chance to work on cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology. If you are self-motivated, hold yourself to high standards, and thrive in a low-structure, high-autonomy environment, this role is for you.
