Senior Software Engineer - Provisioning and Licensing
Celonis is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java) to join the Provisioning & Licensing team, a pivotal group that bridges business functions and the core platform. This role offers significant autonomy and ownership, focusing on the technical design and delivery of mission-critical systems within a modern, cloud-native environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing the core provisioning pipeline and supporting the Self-Managed Platform Solution for highly regulated environments.
Key responsibilities include taking end-to-end ownership of significant development processes, from architecture to delivery, and contributing to the implementation of the Self-Managed Platform Solution. The role demands a strong influence on the technical vision and strategy, balancing decisions between cloud and self-managed deployment models. Ensuring the scalability and reliability of services, upholding defined latency SLAs, and collaborating with other engineering teams to deliver impactful technical projects are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of professional experience building high-performance Java applications, with strong practical experience in Spring frameworks. Expert-level familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and proven experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes (K8s) are required. Experience with REST APIs, distributed micro-service architecture, and comprehensive testing (unit and integration tests) is also necessary. Strong communication skills in English and a passion for clean, understandable code are essential.
