Senior Software Engineer
RVO Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated software applications and systems aligned with business goals. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical designs and solutions. The successful candidate will write high-quality, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to best practices and company standards.
Key responsibilities include debugging, analyzing, and resolving complex software defects and performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal system reliability and user experience. The engineer will conduct comprehensive testing and validation, including unit, integration, and performance testing, to guarantee software quality. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, focusing on large-scale applications, is required. Expertise in TypeScript and hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Node.js, Golang, or Ruby are essential. Experience with backend frameworks like Express or Ruby-on-Rails, relational databases such as SQL or Postgres, and ORMs like Prisma, Sequelize, or TypeORM is also necessary. A deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and experience with software testing are crucial.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $118,000 to $155,000 annually, based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
