The NextGen OS team at Applied Intuition is dedicated to developing the company's operating system stack for future vehicles and new products. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of a full-stack operating system, with significant influence over architectural and implementation decisions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the UI framework that spans across all products, regardless of the underlying operating system.

In this position, you will be responsible for building a proof-of-concept of the Flutter engine running on QNX, driving long-term decisions on the choice of UI framework, and collaborating with the Human Machine Interface (HMI) team to identify and address any gaps. Additionally, you will develop new, industry-specific components to enhance the HMI team's development velocity and work on the C++ engine that powers the core operating system and interfaces with graphics.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on building software development kits (SDKs), UI frameworks (such as Flutter or Swift UI), rendering engines, or game engines. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Graphics, or a related field is required. Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with GPU or graphics programming are essential.
