Senior Software Engineer (Web)
The Senior Software Engineer (Web) at EarnIn will join a dynamic team dedicated to developing and enhancing web applications that provide real-time financial flexibility to users. This role is integral to the company's mission of empowering individuals with immediate access to their earnings, thereby eliminating traditional financial barriers. The position is based in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of EarnIn's expanding presence in the region.
Key responsibilities include driving the implementation of new features by breaking down complex problems into elegant designs and producing high-quality, maintainable code. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as data science, design, product, marketing, and analytics to ensure cohesive development efforts. Mentoring fellow engineers through code, design, and architecture reviews is also a crucial aspect of the role. Additionally, the position involves creating and maintaining test automation to support continuous integration and development velocity.
Candidates should possess at least 4 years of development experience in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in front-end web programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS, is essential, with the ability to render both server-side and client-side content. Experience with one or more back-end programming languages such as C#, Python, Kotlin, or Go is also required. A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience, is necessary. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities are expected. Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools, as well as familiarity with Kubernetes and microservice architecture, is considered a strong plus.
