Applied Intuition is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join our VehicleOS group in Sunnyvale, California. This role focuses on developing and integrating software applications across embedded systems, cloud platforms, and user interfaces for customer projects. The VehicleOS team collaborates across various domains, including hardware, firmware, operating systems, middleware, infotainment, and cloud services, to deliver comprehensive solutions that enhance vehicle functionality.

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering full-system, application-level software features that span both software and hardware components, ensuring they meet customer requirements. You will interact directly with customers to identify target use cases and manage projects to complete the integration process. Your work will involve developing end-to-end software integrations in C/C++, such as matrix headlight control, smart vehicle access via mobile app integration, and in-car voice assistant functionality. Additionally, you will collaborate with hardware and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems that enable custom software feature integration for intelligent vehicles. Designing and setting up test rigs for end-to-end system testing and on-vehicle validation, as well as debugging and troubleshooting integrations between various software components to ensure reliability and system performance, will also be key aspects of your role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in software integration or software development, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A deep understanding of electronic systems and the ability to set up and debug them is essential. Strong development experience in C/C++ and testing software applications, as well as a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles, are required. Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting is also necessary.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the automotive industry and working with automotive technologies such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Simulink, and AUTOSAR. Experience interacting with customers to deliver projects that meet their requirements, developing software for large projects (including CI/CD and release processes), and familiarity with developing software for embedded systems are advantageous. Skills in adjacent areas like CAD/3D printing and PCB design are also beneficial.

Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary ranging from $180,000 to $250,000 annually, along with equity and comprehensive benefits. Benefits encompass health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Please note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on the jurisdiction of employment.
