WPP Media is seeking an experienced SEO professional to join their team in Stockholm, Sweden, as a Senior Specialist in SEO & Content Engineering for a parental leave cover. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies across various platforms, extending beyond traditional search engine optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to drive measurable results through innovative content engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating client and project performance against key performance indicators, ensuring data-driven success through effective content strategies. The role also involves contributing to and implementing strategies related to Generative Search Optimization (GSO), Social Search, and Commerce Search, redefining how brands connect with their audiences through structured and optimized content. Additionally, the Senior Specialist will guide clients through digital transformation investments in their data, technology, and content ecosystems to shape the future of brand discovery.

The ideal candidate will have over four years of progressive experience in technical content implementation, strategic leadership, and client account growth. Strong data segmentation and analysis skills are essential, with the ability to translate insights into actionable content and search strategies. A genuine interest in the future of search and content engineering, including GSO, social search, and commerce search, is highly valued. Proficiency with key SEO tools such as Lumar, Screaming Frog, STAT, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics is required. Experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Python, and working within an e-commerce environment are considered advantageous.
