Senior Staff Security Governance & Compliance Analyst
The Senior Staff Security Governance & Compliance Analyst at Diligent Corporation is a pivotal role within the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team. This position focuses on the technical aspects of the compliance program, aiming to design and operate systems that continuously verify security controls, automate evidence collection, and maintain a state of audit readiness. The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated pipelines for controls testing across frameworks such as SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. The analyst will create scripts and workflows to collect and validate compliance evidence from various systems, implement AI tools to interpret data and identify control deviations, and build a compliance-as-code library for versioned and auditable controls. Additionally, the role involves serving as an internal subject matter expert for control mapping, maintaining an updated control inventory, coordinating with external auditors, and identifying and remediating control gaps.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in information security, with at least three years focused on GRC, compliance engineering, or security assurance. Experience in designing or operating compliance programs for SOC 2 or ISO 27001, including evidence collection and audit support, is essential. Proficiency in automation scripting languages like Python or NodeJS, and familiarity with cloud APIs and security services, is required. Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer, or CompTIA Security+ are also necessary.
