Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Mechanical
The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Mechanical at Anduril Industries is a pivotal role within the company's supply chain team, focusing on the development and production flow of critical mechanical components. This position involves close collaboration with internal engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing departments, as well as direct engagement with suppliers to implement effective and innovative supply chain strategies that meet production objectives.
Key responsibilities include managing mechanical fabrication commodities from new product introduction to full-scale production, evaluating and qualifying suppliers' production capabilities, and overseeing the establishment of new production tooling and lines at supplier sites. The role also entails driving process performance reviews, identifying and implementing product and process improvements, and ensuring suppliers adhere to quality standards and production requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of six years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in mechanical fabrication manufacturing, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T is essential. The role requires the ability to travel at least 50% of the time and relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA. Preferred qualifications include a degree in mechanical or metallurgical/materials engineering, experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
