Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, COTS/MOTS
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Military Off-The-Shelf (MOTS) components, collaborating closely with design, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to meet stringent design and performance standards. Key responsibilities include driving supplier quality development throughout product stages, conducting design reviews, overseeing supplier process development, and managing testing and qualification for components and sub-assemblies. The role also involves partnering with engineering teams to develop and implement functional tests and performance validation processes at supplier sites, as well as analyzing critical characteristics, developing measurement systems, and leading supplier qualification activities.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, along with 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering within a highly regulated production environment. Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, micro-electronics, or mechanical assembly processes is essential. Proficiency in AS9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma methodologies, and performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 standards is required. Additionally, the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance and willingness to travel up to 50% to suppliers and manufacturing locations are necessary.
The salary range for this position is $146,000 to $194,000 annually, with actual offers depending on factors such as experience, education, and critical skills.
