Senior Tax Analyst
Remote is seeking a Tax Analyst to support the expansion of our US Tax Operations services. The Tax Analyst will manage payroll-related state tax registrations and account maintenance, including employment tax and workers’ compensation accounts, with federal and state tax agencies. Daily responsibilities include tax filing, account setup, and issue resolution with government tax authorities. The role also involves reviewing and resolving tax-related escalations, such as registration errors and agency communications, while providing constructive feedback to internal teams and government agencies to ensure accurate and timely tax registrations and account maintenance.
Candidates should have proven experience in supervising operations, ideally in a payroll or similar environment, and possess strong project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, strong leadership and team-building skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication are essential. A high level of comfort with technology and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment are also required. Fluency in English is necessary, and experience working remotely is preferred but not mandatory.
