Samsung Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Technical Resident Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison for OEM and Tier-1 customers, ensuring seamless integration of our advanced OLED display systems into next-generation vehicle architectures. This role is pivotal in bridging our cutting-edge display technologies with strategic partners, placing the engineer at the heart of the automotive product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include providing on-site technical expertise, guiding the execution of OEM programs through critical phases such as APQP, PPAP, and DV/PV testing, and diagnosing complex hardware and software integration issues. The engineer will also deliver regular technical status updates to both internal and customer program managers, ensuring transparent alignment on project goals and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of five years' experience in automotive electronics or the display industry. A background in program management or systems engineering, experience with LCD/OLED automotive displays, and familiarity with OEM programs (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis) are essential. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, along with an understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, are also required.

Compensation for this position ranges from $112,000 to $168,000 annually, depending on work location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
