Senior Technical Sourcer, Software (Contract)
As a Senior Technical Sourcer at Anduril Industries, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging top-tier technical talent to support our innovative and fast-paced environment. This position is a 6-month contract based in Costa Mesa, CA, Seattle, WA, or Boston, MA, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will utilize advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and social media platforms to uncover both passive and active technical candidates. You will initiate and develop meaningful relationships with prospective talent through tailored messaging and personalized communication. Building and maintaining robust candidate pipelines for various technical roles will be essential to ensure a steady flow of high-quality candidates. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and recruiters to understand technical role requirements and align sourcing strategies with broader recruitment goals. Analyzing sourcing metrics and candidate data to refine and optimize sourcing strategies and workflows will also be a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for technical roles. A strong understanding of modern technology stacks, software development processes, and technical skill sets is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proficiency in using data-driven approaches to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and make informed decisions. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing tools is necessary. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment are also important.
Preferred qualifications include experience in startups, tech, or related fields such as AAV, UAS, AUV, Weapons, or similar programs. Expertise using Greenhouse, Gem, various AI tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter is advantageous. The ability to work autonomously and take initiative without requiring constant supervision is highly valued. Demonstrating flexibility in tackling challenges, quickly troubleshooting issues, and devising innovative solutions is important. Effective communication, active listening, and a strong sense of ownership are also desirable traits. The compensation for this role is an hourly rate ranging from $55 to $75 USD. Anduril offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost to employees.
