Senior Value Engineer - Public Sector
As a Senior Value Engineer specializing in the Public Sector at Celonis, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven business transformation for state and local government agencies. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and translating agency challenges into innovative solutions using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, often in conjunction with leading AI and ML technologies. You will lead technical discovery sessions, conduct capability demonstrations during procurement cycles, and oversee the implementation of solutions to ensure successful adoption and value realization. Additionally, you will engage in prototyping and hackathons to develop creative solutions that address critical operational issues within government agencies.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements within the public sector, with a strong understanding of state and local government processes. Proficiency in generative AI techniques, Python, and common machine learning libraries is essential. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to translate high-level policy needs into specific AI use cases are also required. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field is mandatory, with a master's degree preferred.
