Service Technician
As a Service Technician at Lucid Motors, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Lucid vehicles. This role requires a passion for sustainable transportation and the ability to solve problems creatively in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and upholding the company's commitment to innovation in the electric vehicle industry.
Key responsibilities include confidently repairing both basic and major mechanical issues, performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics, and maintaining a high level of knowledge regarding High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems. You will be expected to follow proper repair order documentation procedures, effectively use the appropriate software to document all customer vehicle interactions, and collaborate with other members of the service team and customers to ensure a positive experience.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including previous experience with electric or hybrid vehicle diagnosis and repair. Knowledge of HV and LV systems, as well as electric vehicle powertrains, is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proficiency in applications such as Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software. Additional qualifications include an EPA 609 Certification, willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post-hire, and a valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year. ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS) and experience in luxury automobile repair environments are preferred.
