ServiceNow Workflow Developer
Milbank LLP is seeking a ServiceNow Workflow Developer to join our Information Technology team in New York City. This role focuses on developing, enhancing, and supporting ServiceNow workflows and automations that integrate with systems such as Workday, One Identity, Entra, CMDB, and asset management. The position involves designing and implementing AI-enabled workflows to automate triage, fulfillment, and user support experiences while ensuring control, auditability, and security.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, designing and building ServiceNow workflows using Flow Designer, and utilizing ServiceNow's capabilities to automate and optimize business processes with agentic AI. The developer will also build and maintain IntegrationHub components, develop integration-driven workflows for access requests, handle data mapping and transformations, create and maintain scripted logic, coordinate deployments, implement robust integration patterns, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, maintain code quality through version control, and produce and maintain documentation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive ServiceNow development experience, including proficiency with Flow Designer, JavaScript, IntegrationHub, platform architecture, and REST/SOAP API integrations. Experience in developing agentic AI workflows, a strong understanding of web services, RESTful APIs, and SOAP APIs, and proficiency with Azure SQL and T-SQL are essential. Additional qualifications include experience with Visual Studio or similar development platforms, Git version control, full SDLC experience, proficiency with Postman for testing APIs, and experience with CI/CD for deployment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, adaptability to new technologies, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are also required.
Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow certification (CSA or CAD), experience with legal or HR systems and applications, front-end development skills (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS), familiarity with legal technology platforms such as NetDocuments, IntApp Time, IntApp New Business Intake, and SharePoint, and experience developing workflow automation solutions on platforms other than ServiceNow. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience are required.
