Site Autonomy Manager
The Site Autonomy Manager at May Mobility is responsible for overseeing and supporting the operational fleet at their designated site, with additional responsibilities for multi-site support as needed. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, focusing on training new Site Autonomy Engineers (SAEs), conducting candidate interviews, escalating critical issues to senior management, and providing on-site support across various locations. The position is based in Arlington, Texas, and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure operational success and safety.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and implementing vehicle upgrades, debugging electrical and mechanical issues, executing on-site sensor calibrations, and performing preventative maintenance on May Mobility vehicles. The manager will also lead the onboarding and training process for new SAEs, develop training materials in collaboration with the Learning & Development team, and act as a mentor to support their professional growth. Additionally, the role involves providing technical and operational support to multiple site locations, ensuring consistent operations and best practices, and acting as the point of contact for multi-site coordination and deployment needs.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience, with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across locations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with experience in a fast-paced, multi-site operational environment. The role requires the ability to travel up to 30% of the time for site support. Preferred qualifications include experience in the SAE role, demonstrated success in training and mentoring technical teams, and familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
