As an SMB Account Manager at Motive, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with small and medium-sized business clients, who constitute the majority of our customer base and revenue stream. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic sales team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the safety, productivity, and profitability of businesses operating in the physical economy.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include developing strong executive relationships with clients to identify growth opportunities, conducting product demonstrations tailored to client needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as customer success managers, support, product specialists, and sales engineers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Additionally, you will proactively manage contract renewals and address client concerns to minimize churn.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, preferably from an institution in the US, UK, or Canada, and have at least two years of relevant work experience. A strong end-to-end ownership attitude is essential, encompassing the ability to identify opportunities, conduct effective demonstrations, engage partner teams, and successfully close deals. Exceptional communication skills are required to build rapport with executive decision-makers and effectively convey Motive's value propositions.
