[SO] Product Legal Analyst

In this role, the Product Legal Analyst is responsible for conducting comprehensive research on laws, regulations, and legal precedents pertinent to specific projects and products. This includes analyzing and interpreting legal documents such as laws, briefs, amendments, and regulations across various topics, including licensing, conformity declarations, international trade, labeling, product safety, and product conformity. The analyst collaborates with the global legal team and project stakeholders, including project managers and system engineers, to provide status updates on legal analyses and address inquiries. Additionally, the role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory trends to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or Law and have 2 to 3 years of legal consulting experience. Prior exposure to the automotive domain and areas such as vehicle systems, broadcast receivers, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, connectivity (CCU/V2X), diagnostics/OBD, and positioning technologies is preferred. Essential competencies include strong legal research and fact analysis skills, sound legal reasoning and critical thinking, and effective verbal and written communication skills. Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is also required.
