Canva is seeking a Social Media Manager for a 6-month contract to lead and enhance its social media presence in Indonesia. This role involves developing and executing a data-driven content calendar, creating engaging video, static, and copy content tailored for Indonesian audiences, and building a loyal community of Canva users. The Social Media Manager will collaborate closely with local and global marketing teams to localize brand campaigns and educational initiatives for the Indonesian market.

Key responsibilities include owning and evolving Canva Indonesia's social strategy to drive brand awareness and cultural relevance across key platforms. The role involves leading influencer and key opinion leader (KOL) strategies, from identifying suitable creators to co-creating content and evaluating campaign performance. Additionally, the Social Media Manager will track and report on social performance metrics, using insights to continuously optimize content formats and scale successful initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the Indonesian social media and creator landscape, with knowledge of current trends and audience preferences. They should be comfortable analyzing performance dashboards, creating content, and engaging with online communities to foster genuine brand advocacy. Experience working with influencers or KOLs and the ability to build authentic partnerships are essential. The candidate should be adaptable, quick to respond to cultural moments, and comfortable being on-camera when necessary.
