Software Architect

Cato Networks is seeking a Software Architect to join our team in Tel Aviv, Israel. As a pioneer in converging enterprise networking and security into a centralized, global cloud service, Cato Networks is at the forefront of the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) market. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our cutting-edge SASE solutions, playing a critical role in shaping the future of our product.

In this position, you will be responsible for setting and executing the product architecture and roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to analyze market needs and translate them into technical architectural terms. Your role will involve architecting new features and systems across our management applications, cloud backbone, and multi-platform client products. Additionally, you will act as a bridge between R&D groups, identifying opportunities and aligning on common technical visions.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex software systems. A strong proficiency with microservices and SaaS products, as well as low-level networking or security infrastructure, is essential. Experience in leading large-scale solutions from product definitions to low-level design and implementation is required. The role also demands excellent analytical, systemic thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
