Software Engineer - Active Safety
Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Active Safety team in Stuttgart, Germany. In this role, you will contribute to the development of autonomous vehicle technologies, focusing on enhancing active safety functionalities. As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with simulation and data tooling experts to build and refine features that improve vehicle safety and performance.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing active safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Intelligent Speed Assist. You will utilize our proprietary simulation and data tools to develop, test, and validate these functionalities, ensuring they meet performance benchmarks across a wide range of virtual and real-world scenarios. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to test your developments hands-on in our test vehicles on both test tracks and public roads.
We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of experience in developing and deploying software for driver assistance and automated driving systems. Proficiency in C++ and Python is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools. Experience in delivering ADAS/AD software into series production vehicles, including work on requirements, structured testing, and implementing software at automotive series quality, is highly valued.
