Software Engineer - AI Engineering
Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in AI Engineering to join a dynamic team dedicated to developing AI capabilities, agent frameworks, and application platforms that enhance the company's suite of products. In this position, the engineer will design and implement shared AI infrastructure, frameworks, and tools that drive AI functionalities across Applied Intuition's offerings. Collaboration with product teams is essential to identify and develop high-impact AI use cases from conception to production. The role also involves serving as a GenAI/LLM expert, establishing best practices for architecture, safety, evaluation, and deployment, as well as creating agentic systems like background coding agents and AI SRE tools. Direct interaction with both external customers and internal teams is crucial to understand needs, demonstrate capabilities, and influence the product roadmap.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in building and deploying AI/ML-powered features and products. Proficiency with large language models (LLMs) and agentic architectures is required, as well as strong software engineering fundamentals and a focus on delivering production-quality code efficiently. Comfort with full-stack development, including backend infrastructure, APIs, and frontend work, is important. A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in customer interaction are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
