Software Engineer
Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join our UK Engineering team in London. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance software solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, contributing to the advancement of autonomous vehicle technologies.
Your primary responsibilities will include writing efficient modern C++ code, conducting code reviews, and developing robust system architectures. You will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement best coding practices, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in our software products. Additionally, you will contribute to build automation, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience developing performant modern C++. Strong procedural and object-oriented programming skills, experience with Docker and containerized development environments, and proficiency in Linux-based operating systems are essential. An understanding of service-oriented architecture and message broker paradigms is also required.
