Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Autonomy Tooling team in Sunnyvale, California. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge tools and infrastructure that support the advancement of autonomous vehicle technologies. Our company specializes in providing software solutions that enable the safe and efficient deployment of autonomous systems across various industries, including automotive, defense, and agriculture.

As a Software Engineer on the Autonomy Tooling team, you will analyze user needs and software requirements to develop scalable applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and testing software solutions, as well as developing or directing software system testing and validation procedures. You will work across our entire stack to develop new products, features, and tools for our customers' autonomy development workflows. Additionally, you will build out infrastructure initiatives, optimize our cloud computing and storage costs, and help design new cloud projects. Collaboration with domain experts across various fields, such as infrastructure, robotics, and graphics engineering, will be essential to design software and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or a foreign equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer with an automotive company is required, along with at least 2 years of experience using ROS, C++, and Python. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are essential.

The salary range for this position is $189,700 to $232,925 per year.
