Software Engineer, Connected Warfare (Active Clearance)
Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Connected Warfare Software Engineering team. This team is dedicated to developing and deploying mission-critical software solutions that enhance U.S. and allied military capabilities. As a member of this team, you will contribute to projects such as Counter Intrusion, Joint All Domain Command & Control, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation of Anduril's products in complex operational environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for owning and improving software solutions deployed to customers. Your day-to-day activities will include writing code to enhance product functionality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and test complex features, creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring, and triaging issues to identify root causes and coordinate resolutions. Additionally, you will partner with end-users to translate their needs into features, balancing user experience with engineering constraints. The position requires up to 30% travel to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world settings.
The ideal candidate will possess an active U.S. Secret Clearance and have a strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. You should have 4 to 10+ years of experience working with various programming languages, including Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, or JavaScript. Experience in building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis is essential. The ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases is also required.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range for this role, estimated between $166,000 and $253,000 USD annually.
