Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Connected Warfare division, focusing on developing advanced defense technology solutions. This role involves working within the Mission Command Software Engineering team to enhance global command and control systems, contributing to the creation of connected mesh ecosystems that integrate robots, humans, and sensors across various domains.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for owning and improving software solutions deployed to customers, writing code to enhance product capabilities, and collaborating across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionalities. Additional duties include creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring, triaging issues, and partnering with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints. The role may require up to 30% travel to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world settings.

Candidates must possess an active U.S. Secret Clearance and have a strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. A minimum of 4-10 years of experience with programming languages like Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, or JavaScript is required. Experience in building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis, along with the ability to navigate complex systems and codebases, is essential. A desire to work on critical software with real-world impact is also important.

The position offers a salary range of $166,000 to $253,000 USD, with actual offers varying based on factors such as experience and skills.
