Software Engineer, Data Engineering
As a Software Engineer specializing in Data Engineering at Anduril Industries, you will join the Maritime Digital Production team to develop high-throughput data systems that unify design, manufacturing, and operations into a cohesive digital framework. This role is integral to advancing Anduril's mission of transforming defense capabilities through cutting-edge technology.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable data architectures capable of efficiently handling massive datasets. You will develop high-performance data access layers and databases, integrate information from systems such as PLM, ERP, and MES, and ensure seamless, reliable data flow across the enterprise. Continuous monitoring and optimization of system performance to meet real-time operational demands will also be key aspects of your role.
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in database management systems, including both SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra. Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery is essential. Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala, along with experience in big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, are required. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance are also necessary.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range for this position, estimated between $146,000 and $194,000 USD annually.
