Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance developer tooling within our engineering teams. This role focuses on improving the software and automotive development lifecycle by identifying friction points and developing tools to streamline processes. Applied Intuition is a leader in providing digital infrastructure for autonomous vehicle development, serving industries such as automotive, defense, and agriculture.

In this position, you will design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for our engineering team. Responsibilities include building and testing scalable tools for deployment across various automotive and cloud platforms, optimizing compile and build times using tools like Bazel, CMake, and Docker, and enhancing software deployment and data collection frameworks. You will also identify and resolve bottlenecks within our software stack.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with over 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Python or C++ is required, along with experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, build, and deployment technologies such as Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. Familiarity with Linux and/or ARM systems and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform is also expected.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from €94,400 to €156,429 per year, along with equity in the company. Additional benefits include a lunch and dinner allowance, as well as annual fitness and learning stipends of $600 and $1,000, respectively.
